Using Your ESA or Scholarship for a Christian Science and Nature Study Curriculum

By Camila · October 13, 2026

If you have ESA or scholarship money set aside for curriculum, you can use it for Eden’s Table in seven programs, and in four of them you can order by invoice today. Below is where it’s approved, how ordering works in each state, and what to check first.

Program rules and marketplace listings change, so check the ESA page the day you order. Everything here comes from those pages.

Where can I use program money for Eden’s Table?

Order by invoice today:

  • Arizona, Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA): registered vendor. Arizona page
  • Arkansas, Education Freedom Account (EFA): approved. Arkansas page
  • Alabama, CHOOSE Act Education Savings Account: approved. Alabama page
  • New Hampshire, Education Freedom Account (EFA): approved. New Hampshire page

Approved, marketplace listing pending (it can’t be ordered in the marketplace yet):

Applied and waiting: Florida (Step Up For Students scholarships) and West Virginia (Hope Scholarship).

Being an approved or registered vendor means a program allows families to buy from us. It isn’t an endorsement by any state agency or program, and each program decides what it will pay for.

What is it, if my program asks?

This is how our ESA pages describe it: a 36-week Bible-based science and nature study curriculum in two levels, Sprouts for kindergarten through second grade and Seedlings for grades 3 to 5. Each week centers on one plant.

A few more facts that help:

  • It’s printed books and printable files only. No food, plant material, supplements or other consumable products are sold or shipped.
  • It’s a Christian curriculum. Each week is anchored in a Scripture memory verse and connects the week’s plant to God’s design in creation.
  • The printed set for either year is three books: a Teacher’s Guide, a Student Notebook and a Read-Aloud Storybook, all 36 weeks, printed to order.

How does ordering by invoice work?

In Arizona, Arkansas, Alabama and New Hampshire it’s three steps.

  1. Make your invoice on your state’s page. Enter the account holder’s name as it shows in ClassWallet (Alabama asks for the parent’s name), each student’s first and last name, what each student needs, and the shipping address. Each student gets their own invoice. It’s ready to download right away, and we email you a copy.
  2. Submit it in ClassWallet. How you submit it depends on your state:
    • Arizona: submit it as a payment to a vendor.
    • Arkansas: upload it as a Direct Pay request. The Arkansas Department of Education reviews it (their goal is about two weeks, longer in busy seasons), and ClassWallet then pays us.
    • Alabama: submit it as a Direct Pay (Pay Vendor) request and choose the expense category for curriculum and supplemental reading materials. Alabama doesn’t reimburse purchases, so the invoice is the way to pay.
    • New Hampshire: submit it as a Direct Pay request.
  3. We print and ship. As soon as payment arrives, we order your books. They’re printed to order, so plan on about two to three weeks from there. In Alabama you can also put the 9-week Starter Unit on your invoice, and those files are emailed to you once payment arrives.

What does it cost with program money?

  • Printed set, Sprouts or Seedlings: $261 total ($249 plus $12 shipping).
  • Extra Student Notebook for a sibling: $39.99, shipping included.
  • 9-Week Starter Unit (a download of weeks 1 to 9): $39, listed on the Alabama, Utah, Louisiana and Wyoming pages.
  • Arizona: ClassWallet deducts 2%, so Arizona invoices add 2.0408% to cover it, shown as its own line. A printed set comes to $266.33 and an extra notebook to $40.81. Arkansas, Alabama and New Hampshire invoices have no fee.

Can I pay first and get reimbursed?

In Arizona and New Hampshire, yes. You can order on our store ($249 plus $12 shipping) and request reimbursement in ClassWallet.

  • Arizona: your order confirmation email is an itemized receipt, and Stripe emails its own receipt too. Upload both with your reimbursement request.
  • New Hampshire: request reimbursement with your itemized receipt. Every request is reviewed, so check the CSF New Hampshire Parent Handbook first.

What should I check before I order?

  • Your program’s handbook. It’s the final word on what your program will pay for. Arizona, for example, lists curricula and supplementary materials as a qualified expense, but being a registered vendor doesn’t by itself make a purchase allowable, and the program reviews every purchase.
  • How refunds work. Refunds on orders paid with program money go back to the program, never to the parent personally.
  • Whether your listing is live. In Utah, Louisiana and Wyoming the listings are waiting on marketplace approval. Use “Tell me when it opens” on your state’s page and we’ll write back the day the listing goes live.

What if my state isn’t listed?

Email hello@edeninstitute.health and tell me your state and program. Where we apply next depends on where families ask. You can also call (931) 575-5895, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Central.

Can I see it before I use program money?

Yes. Week 1 is free to download on its own, outside any program, for Sprouts (K-2) or Seedlings (3-5). It’s five full lessons, sent to your email, so you can teach a real week at home before you decide how to spend your account.
